The History of Traser Men's Watches
Oskar Thüler founded mb-microtec in 1969 and was the inventor and developer of the self-illuminating technology trigalight. In 1989, mb-microtec's intensive research and development work had progressed to the point where "The Original", the P6500 Type 6, was completed. A model that, among other things, met the requirements of the US Army. In 1989, the brand "traser" was founded. Between 2010 and 2016, traser men's watches were seen in various films such as "Bayside Shakedown 3" or "Unleashed". But also in cooperation with Red Bull and as timekeeper at the Tour de Suisse. In 2018, the spectacular new building was inaugurated in the industrial area of Niederwangen near Bern, as well as the launch of the traser men's watch P67 Officer Pro Automatic Bronze. In 2019, for the 30th anniversary of the "traser" brand and the 50th anniversary of mb-microtec, the brightest self-illuminating watch in the world was presented. The traser men's watch T1000 shines with a power of more than 1000 microlumens and is equipped with an incredible 318 trigalight tubes. In 2020, three new product categories of traser men's watches were introduced:
