Where does the watch receive the radio signal?
The multi frequency movement handles the transmitters in Europe, the United Kingdom, Japan and the USA. Outside those ranges you set the time through the Junghans app.
Will I ever need to change a battery?
No. The solar cell beneath the glass dial charges the cell during everyday use. Fully charged the watch keeps running for up to 21 months without any light at all.
How delicate is the polished ceramic?
Ceramic is considerably harder than stainless steel and picks up virtually no scratches in daily use. It is more brittle in exchange, so a hard knock on an edge can chip it.
What does the sleep mode do?
If the watch sits in the dark for more than 72 hours it switches to power saving. As soon as light reaches the dial again it sets itself to the correct time.
