The Seiko 5 SNXL72K is an automatic watch cut along classic lines. The gold tone stainless steel case measures 37 mm and sits well on a slimmer wrist. The gold tone dial carries a fine texture, with day and date at 3 o'clock. Inside is the 7S26 automatic movement with 21 jewels and around 40 hours of power reserve; it winds through the movement of the wrist alone, as this calibre offers neither hand winding nor a stop seconds function. The display case back shows the movement at work. The Hardlex crystal resists scratches well, and the watch is water resistant to 3 bar, which covers splashes.
