Does white ceramic yellow over time?

No. The colour sits in the material itself and is not a coating. It stays unchanged over the years and is highly scratch resistant as well.

How bright is the dial really?

It is made of light mother of pearl and reads between cream white and softly shimmering depending on the light. Mother of pearl is a natural material, so every piece looks slightly different.

Does the watch need a battery?

No. The solar cell beneath the dial charges the cell during everyday use. Battery changes are eliminated entirely.

Is the watch suitable for daily wear?

Yes. With 10 bar water resistance, sapphire crystal and ceramic surfaces it is built for daily use.

White ceramic on the bezel and the bracelet centre links gives this version its bright character. Together with the solar dial in light mother of pearl the result is a consistently bright picture, broken only by the polished indices and the hands.

At its core this is a full radio controlled watch. The J615.74 movement receives the time signal, shows date and seconds and charges through the solar cell in the dial. After 72 hours without light it enters sleep mode and corrects itself as soon as daylight returns.
