How do I wind the watch correctly?

Turn the crown clockwise until you feel a clear resistance. The movement is then fully wound and runs for around 80 hours. The indicator at six o'clock shows the level.

Can I swim with this watch?

Yes, it is water resistant to 10 bar. Swimming and showering are fine. Do not pull the crown out while doing so and have the seals checked every two years.

Can you shorten the bracelet to my wrist size?

Yes. Tell us your wrist circumference when you order and we will shorten the bracelet free of charge before shipping. The removed links are included.

The Khaki Field goes back to the watches Hamilton supplied to the US forces in the Second World War: clear numerals, strong hands, nothing superfluous. This version carries a blue dial with the 24 hour scale on the inner ring and a power reserve indicator at six o'clock.

The steel case measures 40 mm across, stands 12 mm high and spans 48 mm from lug to lug. It is water resistant to 10 bar and the sapphire crystal is anti reflective. Hands and numerals carry Super-LumiNova and stay readable at night.

Inside sits a hand wound movement with 80 hours of power reserve. The indicator on the dial shows at any time how much energy is left in the barrel. The balance spring is made of Nivachron, which makes it immune to magnetic fields and temperature changes.
