The GST-B1000D brings the G-STEEL into a flat case with a logo free bezel. Three different surfaces meet there: a vertical hairline, a circular hairline and a high gloss polish that shifts with the angle of the light.
The accent colours come from the DW-5000C of 1983. Red stands for the readiness to take on challenges, blue for water resistance and yellow for shock resistance. Beneath the metal bezel a case of carbon reinforced resin protects the module, and urethane buffers sit where the steel bracelet meets the case.
