Do I have to set the watch?

Normally not. It receives the time signal and sets itself including daylight saving. Manual setting is still possible.

What if no signal arrives?

The quartz movement simply keeps running to within 15 seconds a month and synchronises again as soon as reception returns.

What sets Super Titanium apart from steel?

It is about 40 percent lighter and roughly five times as scratch resistant thanks to the hardened surface. It is also kinder to the skin.

Does the watch need a battery?

No. Eco-Drive charges from light.

This radio controlled watch takes the time from the transmitter and corrects itself. Within range of a time signal station in Europe Japan North America or China it sets itself, outside that range it runs to within 15 seconds a month. World time covers 26 cities and the calendar is perpetual.

This execution carries a blue dial with a fine sunray finish that darkens from the centre outwards. The recessed counters sit in the same blue and read as rings. Blue against light titanium is the classic pairing in this series and comes across noticeably livelier in daylight than the black dial. On the wrist the tone shifts between near black in shade and strong blue by the window. It suits jeans and a jacket equally well. Blue is also the colour this line is best known for.

The case measures 40.5 mm at 10.42 mm high and is made together with its solid bracelet from Super Titanium the surface hardened titanium of the house. At 89 g the watch weighs considerably less than a comparable steel watch while being far more scratch resistant. Sapphire crystal sits above and water resistance is 10 bar.

The chronograph times to a twentieth of a second and measures up to 60 minutes. The calibre H804 drives it all. Eco-Drive means the watch draws its energy from light. Daylight works just as well as indoor lighting. There is no battery to replace.
