How do the three versions differ?

Only in the dial. This reference is black, the 1000 Z-R-741 is deep blue and the 1000 Z-R-742 is burgundy red. Case, movement and strap are the same on all three.

What does a tourbillon do?

It slowly rotates the entire escapement around its own axis and thereby evens out the effect of gravity on rate accuracy. On this watch it sits openly at six o clock and can be watched while it runs.

Do I have to wind the watch every day?

The T1000 calibre is a hand winding movement without a rotor, but it stores more than 100 hours. If you wear it daily it is best wound each morning at the same time.

How delicate is the ceramic case?

High tech ceramic is considerably harder than stainless steel and picks up virtually no scratches in daily use. It is more brittle in exchange, so a hard knock on an edge can chip it.

The black version keeps the appearance closed: a black ceramic case, a black dial with the finely worked Quadro pattern and a black rubber strap. The only contrast comes from the hands and applied indices plated in 4N rose gold.

Inside works the T1000 hand winding calibre with a tourbillon at six o clock. Titoni assembles it by hand in its own atelier in Grenchen and adjusts it in six positions. The power reserve exceeds 100 hours. The anthracite Anthradec coating of the movement meets polished edges and a tourbillon bridge plated in 4N rose gold, visible through the transparent case back.
