The 27/5588.02 is part of the limited Telemeter Edition by Junghans – a chronograph that pays homage to technical and design history. This model recalls the year 1951, when Junghans first combined telemeter and tachymeter scales in a single chronograph. The reissue merges this historic innovation with a contemporary execution in yellow gold-colored PVD coating and a stylishly coordinated green dial.
Powered by the automatic J880.3 movement, the 27/5588.02 offers a power reserve of up to 42 hours and precise chronograph functions: small seconds, 30-minute counter, and stop seconds. The tachymeter and telemeter scales enable speed and distance measurements—a functional advantage with historical roots.
The 40.8 mm case features anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a screw-down mineral crystal display back secured with four screws. Environmentally friendly luminous hands and dial printing enhance readability in low-light conditions. A green leather strap with alligator embossing and a yellow gold PVD-coated pin buckle completes the elegant overall look. Limited to just 150 pieces worldwide.
