The Mudman GW-9500MH-5 is built against dust and mud and adds radio reception and solar power to that construction. Compass bearing, altitude, air pressure and temperature can be read straight off the wrist without reaching for a phone.
A duplex display is used for the compass reading, which makes the values far easier to follow than a single line would. The metal bezel with light gold ion plating places the watch in the Master in Horizon Gold series.

What is Master in Horizon Gold?
A special series within the Master of G line. Three professional models receive a metal bezel with a light yellow gold ion plating plus matching gold coloured details. The motif is the golden horizon where earth and sky meet.
Who is the Master of G line made for?
For work under hard conditions. Depending on the task the models are built for mud, dust, shock or altitude, and they show their equipment openly.
Does the gold plating hold up day to day?
The ion plating is bonded to the metal and far more resistant than paint. Under heavy abrasion on edges it can still become visible over the years.
How water resistant are the models?
All three are water resistant to 20 bar, which covers rain, snow and work around water. Scuba diving is not approved.
What does Multiband 6 mean?
The watch receives time signals from six transmitters worldwide, including Mainflingen for central Europe. Time and date set themselves to atomic time overnight.
