The Casio G-Shock DW-5600RL-1ER belongs to the DW-5600 series and carries on the very first G-Shock design. It takes up that watch's original colour scheme: red stands for the readiness to take on challenges, blue for water resistance, yellow for shock resistance. Case, bezel and strap are made of bio-based resin, and the back carries an engraving. The digital display offers a stopwatch to a hundredth of a second, a countdown across 24 hours, a multi-function alarm and a flash alert, and the LED light makes it readable in the dark. The watch is shock resistant, withstands 20 bar, and the battery runs about five years.
